An influential Brixton artist in his studio with an old vintage radio playing space oddity, set designs, thin and elegant brushes and tubes, glossy spray cans, chandeliers, Chivite spanish wine, ziggy stardust skull, Labyrinth film and a passport. All hunky dory orchestrated.

This is not a Woody Allen’s film, this is a Bowie performance.

The collection is based on a theory of re-using and re-working vintage materials in a creative and sustainable way, hand making gorgeous, feminine shoes to fit. These materials are primarily vintage fabrics and papers: relics of a disappearing world, saturated in significance and hidden meanings; from “Rolling Stones” shoes edition to “Zebra” ballerinas shoes.

A large capitalist city that today could be anywhere.

National Geografic.

Esta chica misteriosa que fue portada en Junio de 1985 de la revista “Nacional Geographic”, cautivó a todo el mundo a través de esa mirada.

Fotografiada en un campo de refugiados pone los pelos de punta el dolor y tristeza que trasmite, sus padres habían sido asesinados durante los bombardeos soviéticos a Afganistán.

17 años después su mirada solo muestra odio al mundo. Nunca antes una foto había reflejado tan bien el antes y el después de una vida humana.

Carboncillo, sanguinas , collage y acuarela.

Mysterious afghan girl who appeared on the magazine cover of " National Geographic" in 1985 , wowed everyone by the deep meaning of her eyes.

Photographed in a refugee camp, her eyes show the terrible pain and sadness, after her parents had been killed during the Soviet bombing of Afghanistan .

Never before had a picture reflected so well the before and after of a human life.

You can find picture within picture of a famous Parisian museum , a French journal paper, a guitar of the rolling stones, a famous pair of legs with Laboutin fake shoes, and a gypsy shop window with garlic, Arbequina pure olive oil and basketry. It hurts not having Almodóvar in!

Podrás encontrar cuadro sobre cuadro dentro de un famoso museo parisino, un toque informativo en francés con nombre universal, una guitarra de los rolling, unas piernas con zapatos falsos Laboutin que podrías encontrar hoy en la trastienda que no deja de sorprender además de un escaparate con ajos, aceite y cestería de los más cañí. Lastima no tener al mismísimo Almodóvar.
